Mountain biking Biking in Flumserberg

In addition to the existing sources of guaranteed summer fun - the FLOOMZER toboggan run and the CLiiMBER climbing tower - there is now another summer attraction in the form of the BikerBerg Flumserberg project. In June 2016, permission was given for the first stage of construction to begin on four mountain biking routes. The second milestone in the project was reached when the first bike trail, the "BlueSalamander", running from Prodalp at 1576 m to Tannenheim at 1220 m, was opened. The other routes are still under construction.

BlueSalamander Bike Trail

The BlueSalamander Bike Trail is the first trail in the BikerBerg Flumserberg project, a project which will take several years to reach completion. The easy blue Bike Trail is ideal for beginners and families because it has been built on terrain that is not too steep and includes lots of flow sections, turns and small jumps. Read whole article

Bike routes on Flumserberg

There are currently two marked SchweizMobil routes on Flumserberg. These are beautiful trails offering breathtaking panoramic views. The relaxed way to reach the start of the trail at over 1400 m is to use the Unterterzen-Flumserberg cable car or take a post bus which has bike carriers. Read whole article

René Wildhaber

Mountain bike pro René Wildhaber grew up near Flumserberg and has very strong roots in his home region, even though in the last ten years he has been away travelling a great deal for his racing, filming and photographic work. René has won races on all five continents. He came to fame thanks to his outstanding performance in long-distance downhill races such as the Mégavlanache race in Alpe d'Huez. Read whole article
