BikerTrails for mountain bike enthusiasts

On Flumserberg, mountain bikers can experience four times the trail fun – thanks to the two easy trails, BlueSalamander and BlueBunny, and the two medium-difficulty trails, RedFox and RedRock. They all have one thing in common: They up the level of happiness and provide you with an extra scoop of adventure for your summer holiday in Switzerland.

Easy trails

BlueSalamander BikerTrail

Not-so-steep terrain, lots of flow, gentle curves, and small jumps: That is what the easy BlueSalamander BikerTrail has to offer – perfect for beginners and families. The starting point of the trail is on the Prodalp plateau, right next to the mountain station of the Prodalp Express at 1576 m above sea level. Across dolomite, red slate, wood and an earth/gravel mixture, the trail leads you down to Tannenheim at 1220 m across a distance of 3.8 km.

BikerParcours & mini walking bike course

Tip: Right next to the start of the BlueSalamander BikerTrail, a free BikerParcours with small waves and jumps optimally prepares you for the descent. In addition, the mini walking bike course is located next to Prodalp mountain restaurant.

Little bike enthusiasts can have lots of fun with the Mustang balance bike and a children's helmet by Crazy Safety. The easy course also trains their balance – true to the motto: Practice makes perfect!

BlueBunny BikerTrail

The easy BlueBunny BikerTrail connects Tannenboden and Tannenheim. It starts directly at the valley station of the BergJet gondola. From there, the trail leads you across a distance of 1.8 kilometres and from 1400 m above sea level down to 1220 m. Both children and adults enjoy the waves, curves, and short pedalling sections. Good to know: The BlueBunny trail also takes you to the lower part of the BlueSalamander.

Medium-difficulty trails

RedFox BikerTrail

The flowy, medium-difficulty RedFox starts on Prodkamm at 1.939 m above sea level. Surrounded by a picturesque Alpine scenery and accompanied by breathtaking views of the Churfirsten mountain range and Lake Walen, the trail leads you down to Prodalp at 1,576 m.

  • from Prodalp to the starting point of the BikerTrail on the 8-person chairlift Prodkamm

RedRock BikerTrail

Mountain bikers can reach the medium-difficulty RedRock trail via the RedFox, which they follow all the way to the Twärchamm junction. From there, the diverse trail takes you across Alpine meadows, over small bridges and through the forest to Tannenboden. The highlight and namesake of the trail is the impressive red rock face on the way to Chrüz.

  • from Prodalp to the starting point of the RedFox BikerTrail on the 8-seater chairlift Prodkamm
  • take the Twärchamm junction to the RedRock
