Whether you prefer sledging or skiing: Exploring the slopes on Flumserberg by night has a very special charm. Even more so, because you can see the impressive Churfirsten mountain range in the dark – and thus in an entirely new way. Every Friday, skiers and snowboarders have the opportunity to experience this one-of-a-kind winter highlight. On Thursdays and Saturdays, it is the sledgers’ turn on the floodlit downhill run.
Various restaurants and bars along the gondolas and lift lines invite you to take at least one culinary break. Let your winter day end in a unique way – during the Nightride on Flumserberg!

During winter-season on thursdays and saturdays you can enjoy exceptional moments in the snow on the floodlit sledging run from Prodalp to Tannenheim. Between 19.00 and 21.00, little and grown-up sledging fans plop down on the sledges for a speedy downhill adventure. And since the run gets groomed for this nighttime event, it is bound to be great fun for the whole family.
The best part about sledging on Flumserberg? The unique atmosphere on the floodlit run, amidst a stunning landscape that seems enchantingly mystical in the dark. And then: Lean into the bends, gather some speed on the straights, and swoosh across the finish line. That is an action-packed experience that is definitely well worth trying!
Alternatively, you can of course also go sledging during the day.

From the end of December until probably the end of February, on fridays between 19.00 and 21.00, all nighttime skiers will be right in their element on the floodlit ski run from Chrüz to Tannenboden. What’s more, the lights remain on until 23.00!
A visit to one of the restaurants located along the route perfectly rounds off your late-evening downhill adventures:
- Fine drinks also await thirsty nighttime skiers at COLORS Restaurant and Bar.
- The Bergrestaurant Chrüz is located directly on the edge of the Chrüz-Slope below the mountain station. A stop for dancing and drinks at the legendary Skichilbi with live music is definitely worthwhile.
Passengers' equipment and clothing must be adapted to the local conditions and the weather conditions on site. This applies in particular to nighttime skiing/sledging and outside of regular operating hours.
