Answers to FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions)

Do you have any questions? Perhaps other guests have already asked them before you. We have answered a selection of the FAQs in detail below. This will make it easier for you to buy your tickets online for your winter sports day on the Flumserberg. If your specific request is not included, please feel free to contact us at any time!

Please note that only day tickets for skiing and snowboarding, day tickets for sledging, Heidi & Peter tickets and Nightride tickets for night sledging and night skiing are sold online.

Info: The price of the day ticket is reduced every half hour starting at 11.00 am. Reduced day tickets, hourly tickets as well as other tickets can only be purchased at the cash desks of the Flumserberg cable cars.

A valid SBB General Abonnement or Half-Fare Card is required to purchase a ticket at the HTA or GA rate. To purchase tickets in the webshop, you need the SwissPass.

Note: Please do not forget that the physical SwissPass card (the data carrier) is necessary when visiting the Flumserberg. As not all lifts have a QR code reader, the SwissPass on the app/on the mobile phone is not sufficient.

You need a keycard to be able to buy a ticket in the online shop. On the keycard you will find the keycard number so that you can load your one- or two-day ticket onto the corresponding card. The keycard has different themes, you can find a current example below. 

You will find the keycard number on the back of your (Flumserberg) keycard. 

If the "Keycard invalid" error message appears when buying a ticket. Please try with another card, as your keycard does not seem to be supported. Therefore you should try another card or contact our sales department. By e-mail to info@flumserbergbahnen.ch or by phone at: +41 81 720 15 15.

Pay at the cash desk on your first visit, then keep your keycard and top it up online in the future.

Yes, multiple tickets can be loaded onto the same card, but not for the same day.

The limit per booking is 9 tickets.

  • Yes, then you can go straight through the turnstile as your card has been loaded.
  • No, then please contact info@flumserbergbahnen.ch or by phone at +41 81 720 15 15 or directly at the Flumserbergcable ticket offices.

You will find the voucher for the "Flumserberg Taler" attached to the booking confirmation as a PDF. You have to print out the voucher and exchange it for a taler at one of the of the Flumserberg ticket offices. The voucher cannot be redeemed directly in the restaurants, this is why you need the "Flumserberg Taler".
