There is a high risk of forest fires throughout the area. Open fires are strictly prohibited in forests and forested areas. Fires are permitted outdoors outside these areas, but only with appropriate caution.
The Heidiland hiking route offers a 6-day hiking experience across the entire Heidiland (see below). This hike corresponds to the sixth and final day stage from the Pizol area to Bad Ragaz.
