There is a high risk of forest fires throughout the area. Open fires are strictly prohibited in forests and forested areas. Fires are permitted outdoors outside these areas, but only with appropriate caution.
The Heidiland hiking route is a 6-day hiking experience that runs across the entire Heidiland (see below). This hike corresponds to the second day's stage from Amden to Flumserberg.
