There is a high risk of forest fires throughout the area. Open fires are strictly prohibited in forests and forested areas. Fires are permitted outdoors outside these areas, but only with appropriate caution.
The leisurely route leads past Bad Ragaz airfield and the Saarfall to the castle overlooking Sargans. On the Rhine dam, it goes back via Giessenpark to Bad Ragaz.
