There is a high risk of forest fires throughout the area. Open fires are strictly prohibited in forests and forested areas. Fires are permitted outdoors outside these areas, but only with appropriate caution.
The easy hike leads through the largest sweet chestnut forest in Switzerland north of the Alps. Along the way, you will find a gorge, an impressive waterfall, and a playground.
