The right equipment for winter hiking

The great thing about winter hiking: It requires very little equipment. The most important thing is wearing appropriate footwear – especially if you are planning to go on a varied tour where the trails might get a little steeper. Warm functional clothing and – on particularly cold days – a hat or headband, gloves and a spare shirt should also be part of your equipment. On longer tours, a rucksack with snacks and hiking poles are worth their weight in gold as well.

Tip: The INTERSPORT Network Flumserberg provides you with the right equipment for your winter adventures. Winter clothing can not only be purchased but also rented.
