Hold the crackling cloth in your hands for once, sit in a paraglider seat on the ground - or even a view on Flumserberg from high above? All this is possible on the weekend of 8 and 9 July 2023 (rescheduled for 15 and 16 July 2023). The meeting point is at the landing site in Flums.
When the sky is full of splashes of colour, the flight festival of the Spitzmeilen Paragliding Club takes place. The GCS is organising its colourful "Flugfest Flumserberg" again this year with a test festival and passenger flights. Invited are all fans of flying sports, paraglider pilots, flight schools and of course you! At the landing site there will be a restaurant with delicious food from the grill, refreshing cool drinks, ice cream and cake as well as musical entertainment. On Saturday evening there will be a cosy flying evening with barbecue and music. If you wish, you can camp on site. The paragliding club Spitzmeilen is looking forward to a nice evening with new and old acquaintances!
As a pilot, the launch sites on the Prodkamm, on the Maschgenkamm and on Schönhalden await you, most of which are easily accessible by post bus and mountain railway. The Flumserberg mountain railways are offering an attractive paragliding ticket again this year. There will also be well-known exhibitors on the site again, who will make their material available for test flights. More information is available online at www.gc-spitzmeilen.ch.
