Will it be sunny the weekend after next? Will Flumserberg get a helipad soon? The questions and answers below cannot magic you into the future but can make your preparations a little easier.

Where is the office of the Ski and Snowboard School?
Our office with the service desk and other rooms for our drawing/painting activities and children's cinema is on Flumserbergstrasse in Tannenboden. It is located in the same building as the Flumserberg information centre, about 100 metres below the exit from the aerial cableway Unterterzen-Tannenboden and the bottom station of the Maschgenkamm gondola.

Group lessons: When are group lessons offered? 
We offer group lessons from Monday, December 21st 2020 until Saturday, April 3rd 2021.              

Group lessons: What is taught when?
Children/teenagers skiing: Monday to Saturday, from 10 a.m.-12 noon and from 2 p.m.-4 p.m.
Adults skiing Monday to Wednesday (with the participation of four persons to Thursday or Friday) from 10 a.m.-12 noon and from 2 p.m.-4 p.m.

Children/teenagers snowboarding: Monday to Friday, from 10 a.m.-12 noon and 2 p.m.-4 p.m.

Swiss Snow Kids' Village Molseralp is also open on Sundays from 10 a.m.-12 noon and 2 p.m.-4 p.m.

Group lessons: Minimum no. of participants?
The minimum number of participants for group lessons is 4 people.
However, we try to provide individual solutions (for example reduced teaching time).

Group lessons: Where can we book?
Book On-line or locally in our main office at Tannenboden or in our sales offices located in the front desk of the lift company in Tannenheim or in the Intersport shop Walensee in Unterterzen.
Small children you may also register directly in  the Kids Ski School at Molseralp.
To register small children for the Kids Ski School Prodalp, please visit our sales office at the front desk of the lift company in Tannenheim.
The appropriate meeting point will also be advised in our main office or in the sales offices.

As soon as you have paid for the course, you have booked.

If you have bought a combined ski school/ski lift ticket, you are automatically booked in.

There are always spaces available unless you receive information to the contrary from the Swiss Ski and Snowboard School Flumserberg.

Group lessons: How big are the groups/classes?
Small children in the Swiss Snow Kids' Villages: ~ 4-8 children
Children and teenagers in the Blue/Red/Black League/Academy: ~ 4-10 children/teenagers
Adults: ~ 4-8 people

The numbers in the groups may be reduced slightly for a limited period in exceptional circumstances and also increased during the peak season. However, to maintain teaching quality, we try to keep the group numbers within the given range.

Group lessons: How are the groups divided up?
The groups are divided up locally by the snow sports instructors following a trial run and in accordance with the ratings of the Swiss Snow League.

Children who have already attended Swiss Snow League courses are allocated to groups based on their booklets or medals.

Group lessons: When are the Swiss Snow League booklets/medals handed out?
The Swiss Snow League medals and booklets are handed out on Thursdays and Fridays.

Group lessons: When do the children's races take place?
Children's ski races in the Swiss Snow Kids Villages
The children from the meeting points in Prodalp (Swiss Snow Kids Village) and Molseralp (Swiss Snow Kids Village) have a joint race: on Fridays at 10.15 a.m. on the Molseralp run.
The awards ceremony takes place in the Swiss Snow Kids Village immediately afterwards at 11.45 a.m.

Children's ski races in the Blue/Red/Black League/Academy
For the groups from the Tannenheim meeting point: on Thursdays at 2 p.m. on the Mittenwald run. Awards ceremony at 4.30 p.m. as announced in the separate programme issued on the race day.

For the groups from the Tannenboden meeting point: on Fridays at 1.45 p.m. on the Schwammkopf run. Awards ceremony at 5 p.m. as announced in the separate programme issued on the race day. 

Snowboard races Blue/Red/Academy
For the groups from the Tannenheim and Tannenboden meeting points, the joint race takes place on Fridays at 11 a.m. on the Madils run.
Awards ceremony at 4.30 p.m. as announced in the separate programme issued on the race day.

Children's party (ski and snowboard)
Our great parties take place 30 minutes before the scheduled awards ceremony in various restaurants as announced in the separate programme issued on the race day.
All participants receive a souvenir badge and the winners also get medals and diplomas.

Private lessons: When do you start offering private lessons?
Private lessons are offered daily as soon as the ski lifts start operating, from about the middle of November 2020 until Easter Monday, April 5th 2021. Pray for snow!

Private lessons: What are the times of private lessons?
They're as long as you want! Daily from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. according to when you want to start and how long you have booked for.

Private lessons: Are private lessons possible at any time?
Private lessons can be booked for any day. We recommend you book by 5 p.m. the previous day if possible. We still try to accommodate short-notice bookings whenever possible.
Places will be booked on a "first come, first served" basis.

Private lessons: Can I cancel a lesson I have already booked without incurring a cancellation fee?
Please let us know as early as possible if you are unable to attend your lessons due to illness or other circumstances! Cancellations can be made without incurring a cancellation fee up to 5 p.m. on the day before the booked lesson. Unfortunately we will have to charge for cancellations made on the day of the booking, but we are fair in cases of hardship.

It is, however, totally unacceptable to simply not turn up for a booked lesson. In such cases, the full lesson rate will be charged and if the same thing happens again, anyone failing to turn up will be excluded from future lessons.
