Culture and places of interest Bickel Museum, Walenstadt

The Bickel Museum was founded by the Karl Bickel foundation. Karl Bickel, born in Zurich in 1886, was an artist, graphic designer, sculptor and stamp designer. The foundation found the perfect place for a museum in the 400m² hall of the old Walenstadt weaving mill.

Since the creations of Karl Bickel, much has changed in the world of graphic art. Social conditions and peoples' values have developed differently. The museum takes account of the these relationships in various exhibitions of contemporary art.

The museum is located in Walenstadt's old weaving factory. 3 minutes from the station.
