Regulations FLOOMZER regulations for use

For young and old and those in between

Normally, almost anyone can ride on the toboggans. Only children aged 3 years and older may use the FLOOMZER. Children under 9 may only use the FLOOMZER if accompanied by an older person (over 12 years of age) who has been familiarised with the run and has been authorised by the person with a supervisory duty to use two-seater toboggans. Children who are at least 1.25 metres tall and older than 9 years may ride alone. The operating staff's instructions must be followed at all times.

FLOOMZER Regulations for Use

  1. Every rider uses the FLOOMZER at his/her own risk.
  2. Use of the FLOOMZER is only permitted in suitable clothing. Loose clothing such as scarves, shawls, long dresses or skirts, veils etc. must be kept close to the body and MUST NOT hang outside the toboggan.
  3. Use of the toboggan while under the influence of intoxicants (alcohol, drugs, mind-altering medication etc.) is prohibited.
  4. The speed must be selected such that neither the rider(s) nor other people are endan-gered. A distance of at least 25 m must be maintained from the toboggan in front. Bringing the toboggan into contact with other toboggans is strictly forbidden. Any per-son doing this will be held liable for all consequences.
  5. Reckless driving can lead to serious injury. You must always apply the brakes in good time and at the end of the run you must approach the conveyor at walking pace. The utmost attention and care are necessary, particularly at the end of the run.
  6. The upper part of your body must always face the direction of travel. Do not turn round, lean out, lie down or kneel. The driver must obey the traffic signals and also concentrate on the section of track (25 m) in front of him/her. You must keep your legs inside the toboggan during the entire trip.
  7. You must obey the starting signal and starting intervals which are indicated. Do not travel too slowly and only stop in an emergency.
  8. Use of the FLOOMZER is only permitted with the toboggans provided, and the safety belt must be worn during the entire descent.
  9. Only children aged 3 years and older may use the FLOOMZER. Children under 9 may only use the FLOOMZER if accompanied by an older person (over 12 years of age) who has been familiarised with the run and has been authorised by the person with a su-pervisory duty to use two-seater toboggans. Children who are at least 1.25 metres tall and older than 9 years may ride alone.
  10. The taller person must always take the rear site and must always have his/her hands on the brake levers. This person is responsible for safety and must be capable of applying the brake during the entire trip. The person sitting in front must always hold the grab handle. Riders must NEVER place their hand on the track or under the tobog-gan.
  11. Braking distances are increased in damp, wet or frosty weather and so a minimum dis-tance of 50 m from the toboggan in front must be maintained.
  12. Instructions issued by staff (they have the legal status of auxiliary police) must be obeyed. Use of the FLOOMZER is prohibited if the Regulations for Use are not observed.
  13. By purchasing a ticket every user irrevocably accepts these conditions. Rights of recourse are excluded.
  14. For safety reasons persons unable to sit properly on the toboggan, for instance because of physical or mental disabilities or who are unable to operate the toboggan, may not use the toboggans. Use of the toboggan if accompanied by a person in a supervisory capacity who accepts responsibility for the user is possible, if appropriate. Persons who are pregnant may not use the toboggans because of the method of operation.
  15. Persons weighing over 110 kg may only use the toboggan on their own (the maximum load carried by the toboggan may not exceed 150 kg).
  16. Animals, umbrellas, sticks and other cumbersome, pointed or loose objects may not be taken on the toboggan.
  17. Smoking and the use of loose devices such as mobile phones, cameras etc. are prohibi-ted during the entire trip.
  18. The site may only be accessed at the entrance provided for this purpose. Users may only commence and end their trip in the places provided for this purpose.
  19. Damaging the operating equipment and the toboggans, obstructing the tracks, setting the equipment in motion without authorisation, activating equipment intended to ope-rate the run or prevent accidents without authorisation, or any other act disrupting the operation of the FLOOMZER is forbidden.
  20. Accidents must be notified to operating staff immediately.

Safe riding fun

The toboggans are safely connected to the rails. This ensures that they cannot leave the rails. You can control your speed using the brake. However, the toboggans never exceed 40 km/h – as the brake is applied automatically.
