The Mountain Railways Flumserberg AG (BBF) was founded in the year 2001 as a operating company and has taken over in the sense of an instruction relationship the management of the partners Prodkamm Railways Flumserberg AG and Maschgenkamm Railways Flumserberg AG since then (as a contractual relation).
Transport facilities and Gastronomy
Our company Mountain Railways Flumserberg is managing 14 transport facilities (ski lifts, cable cars) as well as own restaurants such as Bergrestaurant Prodalp, panorama restaurant Maschgenkamm, restaurant Kabinenbahn as well as the gruebhütte, Bergrestaurant Chrüz and the Alprestaurant Panüöl.
Responsible for impulses in the region
The mountain railways employs about 140 employees during winter. If you add the employees from the restaurants of the company we employ around 200 employees in winter. Therefore the BBF is one of the biggest employers in the region. The annual return of the BBF is around CHF 18 Mio.
Quality oriented
The promotion of young talents in snow sport and the quality management are the basis of our strategic goals. The BBF got the quality label ISO 9001:2001 from the SQS certificate authority in January 2005. We were awarded the qualitiy label "QQQ" in April 2005 by the Swiss Tourism Federation.
