A barefoot trail - what is it exactly?
A barefoot trail is a path, on which, by walking barefoot, you experience special sensations, which are also very relaxing. Such leisure activities serve the purpose of developing healthy mobility (not only in children), awakening an interest in nature or simply creating an innovative attraction.
Grappa Barefoot Circular Trail
In summer 2010, we opened a 650m-long barefoot trail between the Grappawald Kneipp installation and the “Heidi & Peter” picnic hut. There is running water available to clean your feet at both locations (please do not wash your feet in the Kneipp installation).
Barefoot, as in Heidi’s time, you walk over 7 islands, which are filled with different local, natural materials, in order to experience new sensations and treat your feet. See what effect this special experience has on you….
The barefoot trail was planned by Flumserberg Tourism with support from Heidiland Tourism AG and realised in collaboration with the civil defence service. We kindly ask you to keep the path clean so that other guests can enjoy the same experiences as you did.
Have fun trying it out!
