Summer
The mountain lakes can be reached from Tannenboden and from Maschgenkamm in about 1.5 hours on foot. In warm summer weather, they are inviting spots for swimming. An especially worthwhile and enjoyable hike leads from Maschgenkamm to Seebenalp in about 1–1.5 hours and then continues on to Tannenboden in another hour and 20 minutes.
Winter
In winter the the Seebenalp is located at the slopes, and on the winter hiking trail.
Hotel Seebenalp
Rich in tradition, the Hotel Seebenalp, with its large, sunny terrace, lies directly on the lake. It is an extremely inviting place to rest and enjoy a bite and a drink, in an exceptionally beautiful location. Overnight stays can be booked on request.
Picnic sites fireplaces and are available all around the lakes.
