On Schrina-Hochrugg (1300 m.a.s.l.) in Walenstadtberg there is a temple-like monument with over life-size mosaic pictures.
It was created from 1924 to 1949 by the stamp designer Karl Bickel and is not a cult centre but a quiet, peaceful place for meditation and spiritual repose.
The peace centre Paxmal is open free to visitors from spring to autumn.
