From July to September, every evening, on the Alps the traditional Sargasnerland evening blessing is called to protect people from evil spirits and disaster.
This is an especially natural and reassuring custom. The alpine blessing unites pagans and Christians: with the help of the saints who are invoked, the evil spirits are banished and a band of protection is formed over the alpine areas.
The blessing is called between 20.00 and 21.00. Enjoy an evening meal in Restaurant Senästube on the Tannenboden Alp and listen to the blessing being called.
