The Mountain Railways Flumserberg Corp. (BBF) was founded in the year 2001 as a operating company and has taken over in the sense of an instruction relationship the management of the partners Prodkamm Railways Flumserberg AG and Maschgenkamm Railways Flumserberg AG since then (as a contractual relation).
Transport facilities and Gastronomy
Our company Mountain Railways Flumserberg manages 14 transport facilities (ski lifts, cable cars) as well as 3 own restaurants; Mountain Restaurant Prodalp, Panorama Restaurant Maschgenkamm and Restaurant Kabinenbahn.
Responsible for impulses in the region
The mountain railway employs about 140 employees during winter time. If you add the employees from the restaurants of the company we employ around 200 employees in winter time. Therefore the BBF is one of the biggest employers in the region. The annual return of the BBF is around CHF 18 Mio.
Quality oriented
The promotion of young talents in snow sports and the quality management are the basis of the strategic goals of the BBF. The BBF got the quality label ISO 9001:2001 from the SQS certificate authority in January 2005. We were awarded the quality label "QQQ" in April 2005 by the Swiss Tourism Federation.
