Times change
The aerial tramway line Unterterzen–Flumserberg was opened in 1955. The aged aerial tramway was torn down in the summer of 2005. Now, our guests get to the Flumersberg in beautiful 8-person gondolas with panoramic views, and that without having to switch lines in Oberterzen!
Modern 8-person gondola line
With the opening of the modern 8-person gondola line, guests can ride sitting and get to Flumersberg via Oberterzen in just 20 minutes. The load performance of the new comfort line was tripled and the panorama windows allow the guests to enjoy a magnificent view of the Walensee and the Churfirsten mountain chain.
Ideal connection to the lake
With the magnificent view of the lake, a cruise on the Walensee is a terrific conclusion to a hike on the mountain! The lake pier is located in the immediate vicinity of the Untersterzen train station. The aerial tramway in Unterterzen is thus the optimal connection between the lake and the mountain.
