Sledging run from Prodalp to Tannenheim

On a total of 3 km, the medium-difficulty sledging run on Flumserberg offers a heaping scoop of fun for families. The run leads from Prodalp to Tannenheim, and it starts right next to Prodalp mountain restaurant. Perfect, if you want to fuel up with some hearty food for your upcoming downhill adventures. The end of the sledging run is located right by the valley station in Tannenheim. This descent is not suitable for small children up to 6 years of age. However, Flumserberg ski resort boasts a variety of other attractive offers for family excursions with young children. For example, the two children's sledging slopes Prodalp and Tannenboden.

Children's sledging slope Prodalp
Prodalp is not only the start of the medium-difficulty sledging run, but also the Prodalp children's sledging slope. The flat slope is right next to the valley station of the Prodkamm chairlift and provides safe fun for the little ones. 

Whether with a bobsleigh or a snow slide, children can have a great time here on the sledging slope and make as many runs as they like.

To the left of the Children's Land Tannenboden, at the valley station of the BergJet gondola, you will find the Tannenboden children's sledging slope. 

Along a simple curve, the children can whizz down the sledging slope on a bobsleigh and snow slide and run straight back up to the start.

Children can get to the start of the children's sledging slopes themselves or with the help of their parents. A lift is not available for this purpose. The use of the children's sledging slopes is free of charge.

Good to know: The Prodalp mountain restaurant and the COLORS – Restaurant and Bar provide refreshments in between. You will also find the sanitary facilities directly in the buildings of the aforementioned gastronomic establishments.

Nighttime sledging on Flumserberg

What is already a pleasure for the whole family by day becomes even more unforgettable by night. Twice a week, the floodlit downhill run delights visitors of all ages. Nighttime sledging on Flumserberg impresses sledging enthusiasts with a mystical atmosphere.

Rates and opening hours of the sledging run on Flumserberg

A look at the open lifts and ski runs shows you whether sledging is currently possible on Flumserberg. Also find out about the general operating hours of the cable cars and lifts at Flumserberg ski resort. Sledging day tickets can be purchased in the webshop, but are of course also available at the ticket offices in the Tannenheim, just like the individual rides. Sledges can be rented either at the Prodalp-Express gondola station on Prodalp or at the INTERSPORT Network Flumserberg location in Tannenheim. For holders of a season, half-day, day or multi-day ticket of Bergbahnen Flumserberg AG, using the sledging run is free of charge during the day.

Which facilities allow sledge transportation?

The 12-seater gondola Prodalp-Express is transporting you and your sledges to the top of the sledging run. The gondola SeeJet is also allowing you to carry a sledge from Unterterzen to Flumserberg, Tannenboden.

Sledges for toddlers are allowed in the 8-seater gondola BergJet as well as the 6-seater chairlift Panüöl.

Are dogs allowed on the sledging run?

No, dogs are not allowed on the sledging run.

How to get to the sledge adventure

Tannenheim is your starting point for an exciting day on the sledge run. The start of the sledge run is located directly beside the gondola Prodalp-Express mountain station

Getting here by Postauto:
From Sargans station, the post bus takes you via Flums to Flumserberg, Tannenheim. Leave the bus there and use the 12-seater gondola Prodalp-Express to reach the start of the sledge run. The ticket for the sledging can be bought at the ticket office in Tannenheim.

Getting here by car:
Park your car on the car park in Flumserberg, Tannenheim and buy your sledging ticket at the ticket office there. Afterwards the Prodalp-Express gondola is transporting you to the top of the Prodalp mountain station, which is right by the start of the sledging run.

Getting here by train:
You can either drive by train until Flums and change over to the post bus there* or leave the train at Unterterzen. The 8-seater gondola SeeJet is getting you from Unterterzen via Oberterzen to Flumserberg, Tannenboden. Having reached the top, use the post bus until Flumserberg, Tannenheim.
